create your own winter wonderland!

Only two weeks from Christmas and no snow to speak of. In fact, it’s wet and almost 50 degrees today! The kids are desperately hoping for snow so they can celebrate winter in true style – sledding, snow forts and all that stuff :) Plus, there’s nothing like fresh snow to enhance the season and those cups of hot chocolate. The three oldest took it upon themselves (as part of Art, of course!) to make some snowflake magic all their own inside the house.

Other things on the agenda today included math, reading, read aloud, piano/violin, chores, “applied kitchen science” (aka learn how to make your own lunch) and of course, the ever popular fort building, although Bythebook opted to hone her typing skills instead. An escapade outside without having to get all bundled up will top the list of fun activities as well.
